Course Description: 

In this short course, we will take a deep dive into the history of the occupation in Palestine beginning in the early 20th century. We will focus on the major events and key individuals that defined the direction of the war in order to get a broad sense of how and why the history unfolded as it did. Students should walk away from this course better informed on the history of occupied Palestine, more confident to explain it to others, and inspired by the Palestinian resilience.

Course Prerequisites:

Students should be women above the age of 17.

Course Logistics:

  • Designed in an easy to follow format.
  • Recordings available to registered students
  • Based on the aqida of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'a.

Course Requirements: 

This is an online course so students will need:

  • Access to internet with an internet speed of at least 2 Mbps recommended for best performance. 
  • Headphones, camera and microphone may be required for in-class participation. 
  • To access the live class and recordings, students will need a computer, smartphone, or tablet/iPad with the Zoom app.
