Feeling unready for Ramadan? Not sure about the rules? Want a deeper connection to Allah during this special month?
Join us for this workshop with a line-up of Ribaat instructors to prepare mentally, spiritually, and practically for the blessed month. The workshop will cover a variety of topics ranging from spiritual connection, fasting rules, how to best experience the month, and how to create a Ramadan experience in your home and beyond, to ensure that you are geared up and ready to benefit from this blessed month to the utmost!
How to Make Dua: Anse Dr. Tamara Gray
We know Ramadan du'as are answered, but sometimes feel at a loss for what to make du'a for, and how. In this session, we will learn practical tips on how to use this Ramadan as a springboard for making du'a comfortably and confidently.
Spiritual Ramadan: Anse Dr. Marah Dahman
While Ramadan is a month of fasting from food and drink, it’s also a month of internal refinement and expansion. Elevate your experience this Ramadan with these tips and reminders from a beloved Ribaat teacher, Anse Marah.
Fiqh of Fasting: Anse Rydanah Dahman
Enter into fasting with confidence and ease your worries. Understand the qualities and conditions of an accepted fast and the actions that invalidate the fast. Maximize, uplift and build confidence in your fasting.
Ramadan as a Convert
First Ramadan jitters can be real. Hear from the experiences and insights of a seasoned convert on preparing for a meaningful, and not overwhelming, Ramadan experience and navigating your new community.
Healthy Ramadan: Anse Dr. Saadia Mian
It’s no surprise that science is currently proving all the health benefits to fasting. Anse Dr. Saadia Mian will share how to optimize on a healthy Ramadan by ensuring adequate nutrition and water intake. She will also address your health concerns related to the fast.
Convert Panel Chat
Our Convert panelists will share personal stories of their Ramadan challenges and triumphs in this relatable and honest conversation. The panelists will also answer your questions and concerns.
Entertainment:
Join us for spiritually uplifting songs of praise and remembrance by Rabata’s favorite nasheed singers.
Recordings of the sessions will be available for a full year.

- Participants should be women above the age of 17.
- Please bring a notebook and writing tools for activities

- Registration fee is $35.00; non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Registered students will have access to the forum and recordings for 1 year.
- Installment plans are not available for this workshop.
